Who we are
YardLoadout ("the Site", "we") is a planning tool for lawn care equipment and products. Users can browse a product catalog, assemble and share equipment lists ("loadouts"), vote on products, and submit product and sales-event suggestions. The Site is operated as an independent publication and is not owned by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any manufacturer or retailer listed on it.
Affiliate disclosure
As an Amazon Associate, YardLoadout earns from qualifying purchases. Links from this Site to Amazon.com — including product links, list "buy" buttons, and links to sales-event announcements — carry our affiliate tag, and we may receive a commission when you make a purchase through them, at no additional cost to you. The Site may also link to other retailers such as Lowe's and The Home Depot; where those links participate in an affiliate or commission program, the same applies. Affiliate relationships do not determine which products appear in the catalog, or community vote rankings.
Pricing and availability
Prices shown on the Site are estimates recorded at the time a product was added and are labeled as such. They are provided for planning purposes only, are not offers to sell, and may be outdated or incorrect. Actual prices, availability, shipping costs, and promotions are set by the retailer and are displayed at the retailer's site at the time of purchase. Always confirm the current price on the retailer's page before buying.
No professional advice
Content on the Site — including product descriptions, curated loadouts, seasonal recommendations, and application notes — is general information, not professional, agronomic, horticultural, or safety advice. Lawn conditions vary by region, soil, and season. Before using any fertilizer, herbicide, pesticide, or power equipment, read and follow the manufacturer's label, instructions, and safety warnings, which always take precedence over anything on this Site. Comply with your local laws and restrictions regarding product application.
User-submitted content
Parts of the Site display content submitted by users, including shared loadouts, product suggestions, votes, and sales-event submissions. While submissions are reviewed before appearing in the public catalog or events board, we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose, and they do not represent our views. Shared list pages are created by their respective users. If you believe submitted content is inaccurate or infringing, contact us and we will review it.
Gear Talk community forum
“Gear Talk” is a user-generated discussion forum. Posts and replies express the views of the individuals who wrote them, not YardLoadout, and are not professional advice — follow product labels, manufacturer instructions, and local laws regardless of anything posted there. External links are automatically removed and strong language is filtered, but we do not pre-screen every post; content may be posted before it is reviewed. Community members can report content, which is automatically hidden pending moderation. By posting, you agree not to submit unlawful, infringing, harassing, or spam content, and you grant us the right to display, moderate, or remove your submissions at our discretion. We are not liable for user-posted content.
Photos, prohibited content & enforcement
Users may upload photos (for example to the Yard Showcase or as product-photo suggestions). By uploading, you confirm you took the photo or otherwise hold the rights to it. The following content is strictly prohibited and will be removed: any illegal content; any sexual or sexually suggestive content — above all, any content that sexualizes or exploits minors; non-consensual or voyeuristic imagery; graphic violence; harassment or doxxing (including publishing someone's address or location); malware or content designed to compromise the Site or its users; and content that infringes others' intellectual-property rights.
Technical safeguards. Every uploaded image is validated and rebuilt by the Site before storage: metadata (including EXIF/GPS location and camera details) is stripped for your privacy, the file is reconstructed so that the stored copy is never the original upload, and images are served with security headers that prevent them from executing as anything but an image. Uploads are additionally screened by an automated content-safety system and are reviewed by a human moderator before they appear publicly.
Reporting and removal. Every public photo carries a “⚑ Report” control, and reports can also be sent to support@yardloadout.com. Content that receives multiple community reports is automatically unpublished pending review. We aim to review reports of illegal content and remove confirmed violations within 24 hours; accounts that post prohibited content are banned. Where the law requires it, we will preserve evidence and report material to the appropriate authorities (including NCMEC for content involving minors) and cooperate with law enforcement.

The Site links to third-party websites (including retailer product pages and event announcements). We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites. Following such links is at your own discretion.
No warranties
The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
