What to look for in herbicides & pesticides
- Pre-emergent timing
- Must go down before soil hits ~55°F, when crabgrass germinates — timing is everything.
- Check grass compatibility
- Several common broadleaf herbicides injure St. Augustine and centipede — the label lists safe grasses.
